Mills shuttle runs into trouble

Several Mills students were recently delayed when the Mills van service was cut short due to a regularly scheduled driver calling in sick.

On Feb. 9, Feb. 26 and March 1, Public Safety sent campus-wide e-mails informing students of the changes to the schedule and apologized for any inconveniences they caused.

A return of spam

Spam: It's either mixed animal products or the scourge of your inbox, and anyway you shake it, it's bad news. So why, Mills students, did some of us come back from a nice long break to click open our Mills accounts and be absolutely flooded with the stuff?

Hybrid-only parking comes to Mills campus

Between November and December of 2007, three spaces were reserved for hybrid vehicles 24 hours a day.

Propositions 91 through 97 are scheduled to share the ballot with the presidential primary race.

While many voters follow the presidential primaries, the California -specific propositions are sometimes an after-thought for voters.

Mills used to have a lot of quirky traditions.

I only use the past tense to illustrate how far we've come from our isolated, quirk-city roots. Think about it: Mills used to be an island in a rural sea, a little cluster of young ladies and social mores. Boring, right? Hence the need for quirky traditions, importing men from the University of California, Berkeley, and the now long gone, yet ubiquitious Mills Brown Bread.
