Four swimmers qualify for nationals

Four swimmers from the Cyclone swim team qualified for Nationals at a recent swim meet, making it the fourth year in a row that Mills has qualified for Nationals.

The four swimmers, which included two seniors, Erin Lucas and Chrissy Fisher and two freshwomen, Rachel Griffith and Michaela Ellis, secured a spot at Nationals during the 200-yard Medley Relay at a 2:04.

More students attend Mills now than any other year

Mills College has set an enrollment record this year with 948 undergraduates attending Mills, pushing the school closer to the campus' goal of 1,000 undergraduates, according to statistics collected by David Gin, associate vice president for Student Financial and Administrative Services.

First home games show team’s promise

The first home games of the volleyball season kicked off on Sept. 15 and 16 with two hard-fought losses from the Cyclones. As over 120 rowdy supporters, crowded into bleachers, they witnessed devastating defeats as Mills lost to opposing teams Bethany University and Menlo College, two of the top four volleyball teams in Division III.
