Keeping in time with the Mills Community since 1917
My pursuit of higher education has been circuitous and often arduous. Upon reaching this final moment before ending my time here at Mills College, I am offered an opportunity to reflect on my journey in full.
What most surprised me was the quality of the connections I made with students and faculty.
Dr. Sandra C. Greer will be the new Provost and Dean of the Faculty at Mills College, according to a campus e-mail sent by President Janet Holmgren on May 2.
Dr. Greer is a chemist, currently teaching courses in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, at the University of Maryland College Park.
In the critical days leading up to Super Tuesday, Chelsea Clinton visits Mills College to engage in conversation with students and the community.
The Mills College debate between the administration and its students continues over the adoption of an LGBTQ emergency fund proposed by senior Phoenix Ahmadyar for this semester. Ahmadyar, who was financially cut off from her parents after coming out as a queer woman, faces not being able to graduate due to Mills debt.
