On Feb. 11, the Mills College community and Bay Area residents came together for Say It Loud: an evening of poetry, monologues, and short stories in celebration of Black History Month.
The event featured English faculty Faith Adiele and Patricia Powell who both read stories in response to the recent crisis in Haiti.
