Ericka Huggins spoke at The Black Dot Cafe in West Oakland on Saturday Oct. 30, 2010. Huggins discussed social inequalities of race, class, and education in the U.S. Also, she talked about the history of The Black Panther Party and The Oakland Community School that started in 1973 by members of the Black Panther Party. Huggins is an activist, poet, educator and former Black Panther leader and political prisoner.
