Choice USA Mills College Chapter hosted a Reproductive Justice and Sexual Health Fair at Adams Plaza Thursday to showcase what will be available in the women's resource center they hope to provide this fall. Last semester, Choice USA worked on issues such as Propositions 73 and 85, and now hopes to focus on campus issues.
The Mills sophomore class and the American Red Cross encouraged students to give blood at a drive held in the Student Union last Wednesday. Yet restrictions on blood eligibility and a lack of student interest kept donations low. Mills students signed up for the drive by filling out forms at Cowell or registering with the American Red Cross Web site before the drive took place.
Public Safety is considering buying a new shuttle after many student complaints. The road toward better transportation is bumpy due to budget restraints.

Lylah Schmedl, seven, and Arika Permanna, six, try to catch as many bubbles on their wands as they can before they pop or hit the ground at the Mills Mothers' Club Arts, Crafts and Luncheon on Feb. 10. The Mothers' Club held the event in hopes that it would bring more parents to meetings.
Computing Services has revised the Mills Internet system. Changes include more bandwidth, larger Mills Webmail servers, a spam and virus filtering appliance, wireless improvements, as well as hints of downloadable podcasts from professors. First, Computing Services will increase bandwidth so that pages will load significantly faster.
