We arrived late at the Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa after all the pre-panels and Robert E. Maynard Institute of Journalism Education’s Dori J. Maynard’s keynote speech have already ended.
FRIDAY, FEB. 28
It’s our first day of ACP!
Managing Editor Natalie Meier @nat_meier, Arts & Entertainment Editor Emily Mibach @eamplant, and Online Editor Melodie Miu @mldmiu collectively live-tweeted during almost all the ACP panels and events this weekend using their own and The Campanil‘s Twitter accounts.

Later that night, New York Times‘ Margaret Sullivan @Sulliview gave a keynote presentation at ACP called “Journalism 2020.”

Unable to make it to San Diego in time for his keynote speech, Robert Hernandez turned his presentation into a live Twitter AMA session using the hashtag #ACPressAMA where student reporters sent in their questions.
