Youth Radio celebrated the book release of “Drop that Knowledge: Youth Radio Stories” by Elisabeth Soep and Vivian Chavez on September 16, 2010.
Youth Radio is a youth development and media organization based in downtown Oakland that promotes young people’s intellectual, creative, and professional growth through training and access to media. “Drop that Knowledge” is the first book to go inside Youth Radio with stories and defines the relationship between media, learning, and youth culture.
