Underpants exposed

What happens when a housewife drops her underpants in the middle of a military parade in 20th century Germany?

That question is answered in the Mills Players’ production of The Underpants, a play originally by Carl Sternheim but adapted by Steve Martin.

The Players’ first production of the year opens next week, Oct. 26, 27, 28 and 29 in Lisser Hall.

The show, described as a “quirky comedy” in student-news, explores the idea of fame and what it can do to people.

However, the show is recommended for viewers 16 and over, so don’t plan on bringing any younger brothers or sisters.

The show starts at 8 p.m. and theater doors open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are free, but donations are recommended.

Reservations for seats can be made by e-mailing Amanda Parker at amparker@mills.edu or calling 805-610-1551.
