The Real World/Road Rules Casting 2004

As viewers follow the story of the cast members of the “Real
World: Paris” and “Road Rules: South Pacific”, producers at MTV are
getting ready to plan seasons 15 and 13 of Real World and Road
Rules, respectively.

The Bunim/Murray casting department is looking to find new cast
members here in the Bay Area, holding an open casting call in
Berkeley on Sept. 20. A turn out of anywhere from 800-1200 people
is expected this Saturday.

The hours-long process will begin with short interviews held in
groups of 10-12 people, where participants will be asked to
instigate discussions on a range of topics, varying from politics
to religious and social issues.

“People are encouraged to be themselves,” said casting director
Jason Horowitz.

Famous Bay Area cast members include Coral and Malik from “Real
World: Back to New York”, and Yes, a student from UC Berkeley
participated in “Road Rules: Semester at Sea.” Both Darrell, from
“Road Rules: Campus Crawl”, and Amaya from “Real World: Hawaii” are
Oakland natives.

People between the ages of 18 and 24 are invited to participate
in this open casting call. The auditions will take place on Sept.
20 at La Val’s Pizza, 2516 Durant Ave., Berkeley. The process will
begin at 10:00 a.m. and is expected to end at 5:00 p.m. Applicants
should bring a recent picture of themselves as well as photo
ID.
