PHOTO | Art Installation on Campus: Interfaces

While Fatima and I were doing our Wednesday fashion hunt, we came across this amazing art installation in the patio area behind the Prieto Multimedia Lab and the Tea Shop.

This particular installation named Interfaces was curated by Anya Sophe Behn. White-clay-and-iron-oxide pieces fashioned like iPhones are scattered across a wooden triangular box of dark soil with colorful light strips, headphones, and charger cables. By mixing the concepts of cave paintings and phone devices, Behn was interested in revealing how humans “communicate with each other across physical distance through technology.”

You can read a more in-depth description of her work in the last photo at the bottom of the post.
