Students are eligible for $16 tickets to see a new play, a tribute to spoken word, called "from okra to greens/a different kind of love story." Written by Ntozake Shange, the play runs through Feb. 19 at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre (620 Sutter St., SF). The theatre is accessible by BART. Get off at Powell station and walk West on Powell, turn left on Sutter.
Women playwrights are encouraged to submit their plays to the EXIT Theatre for the spring 2007 DIVAfest. A $500 award is offered.
