Keba Konte

Keba Konte installation at the Mills Art Museum examined “Oakland’s Black flight.” Keba depicted families fleeing the violence that plagues Oakland city streets. Highlights include a 70s cadillac with empty bullet shells instead of tire streaks in the wake of its wheels.
