City of Oakland Celebrates Dia de los Muertos During the Fruitvale Festival

The Fruitvale Festival is held every year during the Halloween
weekend. It is described as being a “family-oriented,
alcohol-free, large-scale free festival in the East Bay” that
celebrates cultural traditions, diversity, and the arts &
artisans in a fun and safe environment. The festival is held in the
Fruitvale Village and along International Boulevard.
