Mills alumna Dorothy Yumi Garcia returned to her alma mater on Thursday March 8, bringing with her a spirit of giving and guidance. Her husband, Tom Harding, and her daughter, Chloe, sold beaded dolls, animals and jewelry, pins and other unique pieces of art outside the Tea Shop steps.
When Arezou Mansourian was little, she wasn't interested in Barbie dolls or tea parties. Instead, she wanted to fight with her brother or play with his Legos. And when middle school rolled around, she found two weeks of wrestling in her P.E. class much more fun than the line dancing classes.

The Mills College Tennis Team enjoyed yet another win against Diablo Valley College Feb. 23 thanks to freshwoman Lisa Kelly, this week's Cyclone of the Week. She won the pivotal singles match in a two and a half hour battle and then came back with Jen Johnson to win the doubles match, which clinched the win for Mills.
The first annual "Mills Got Talent" show featured fire breathing, movie scene reenactments and specially choreographed lip-synching to the Spice Girls.
Soda is sold almost everywhere and can be found in almost every flavor or variety: vanilla, lemon-lime, berries and cream-with or without caffeine or calories. Soda seems to pervade our lives every day, especially on a college campus like Mills.
Freshwoman Emma Giboney says she drinks soda here at Mills, but never drank it back home in Seattle.
