Veronica Perry has been selected as Cyclone of the Week.
Veronica, a junior majoring Latin American Studies, had a solid set of strokes when she joined the tennis team this past fall but had little competition experience. Her growth over the season has shined through her level of play and propelled her to a first place finish in the Mills College Family Tournament on Saturday, Apr. 23, with her doubles partner and Uncle Javier Baraona. The duo was undefeated as they worked their way to victory during the tournament.
Veronica has grown so much as an athlete this semester, her positive attitude and ever-present openness are a huge part of the team and have contributed so much to her success. We look forward to her continued growth as a competitor next season.
