Photo by Lokemele DavisThe Student Union opened its doors to a full house at the screening of The Abortion Diaries, a documentary by Penny Lane, that was sponsored by the Mills Chapter of Choice USA last Thursday night.
Over 80 people came to see the film that chronicled the stories of 12 women who had abortions.
Stacia Mills, President of the Mills Chapter of Choice USA, led a discussion that followed the film in which members of the audience were given the opportunity to voice their opinions about questions and topics the film raised.
Participants of the discussion shared their opinions and experiences involving abortion legal issues, emotional issues, advice on resources to help with an abortion, and even a conspiracy theory.
