With footage found from The Campanil vault, here is the video with retiring Mills President Janet Holmgren discussing her thoughts about the Walk of Honor. The Walk of Honor is a street chalk mural made by hired freelance artists and selected students to “celebrate women who changed the world.”
During its off-season, all the panels of the mural are taken apart and preserved for next events.
The mural was first showcased in May 13 along the walkway to the Lokey Graduate School of Business before the 2010 Commencement and again on Oct. 1 during the Convocation weekend.
