The swim team competed in the Mills Invitational Swim meet this past Friday and Saturday. Despite the length of the meet, the swimmers pushed themselves and achieved personal best times in 80 percent of their races. The 400 freestyle relay of Kylie Hepper, Emily Kaufmann, Laura Omana, and Naomi Frigo broke the school record by seven seconds. Emily Kaufmann also broke the school record in the 1000 freestyle.
There was great support within the team and also from the many fans who came out to root the team on. This was the swim team’s last meet of the fall semester.
