The Swim Team raised over $2,000 for the Women’s Cancer Resource Center this past weekend through their participation in the Swim-A-Mile.
The members of the team worked hard to find sponsors and each swimmer swam a full mile (72 lengths of the pool). The team also helped out by volunteering their services Friday afternoon and all day Saturday to help make the event a success. The event was held at the Mills College swimming pool and helped raise over $250,000 in a Bay Area wide event for the Women’s Cancer Resource Center.
