As a college student on a budget, buying groceries for your dorm can prove to be a tough task, especially when items are costly or unappealing. With the end of the semester fast approaching, it’s easy to forget to eat, so here are some tasty and affordable options for you to consider.

Beverages are ideal to have in a dorm room at all times. Late nights spent studying can call for a lot of caffeine. Buying soda in bulk can be cheap if you don’t mind having a large cardboard box of cans somewhere in your room.
If you’re not particular about what brand of soda you drink, stay on the lookout for sales; a 12 pack of soda can be just a few dollars. If coffee is more your taste, bottled Frappucinos is a good way to go.
Fruit juice is also great to keep around a room. With a wide variety available on the shelves, there’s no way you can go wrong.
When a meal is bland, spicing things up with condiments and seasonings can help. A small container of soy sauce or a hot sauce like Tapatío can help bring flavor to a lifeless meal. Packages of basil and oregano can also add new flavor to a dish.
