Last Tuesday, the soccer team fell 8-1 to CSU Monterey Bay. Junior Molly Shaiken scored the Cyclones’ lone goal off a pass from sophomore Amanda Garcia.
The team rebounded on Saturday with a solid 5-1 win over Menlo College. Freshwoman
Claudia Mercado led the offensive charge with three goals and an assist while Amanda Garcia added two goals. Freshwoman Gloria Espinosa played well in goal for Mills, making several key saves. Cheyenne Purrington and Maliheh Nakhai both added an assist for the Cyclones.
The soccer team only has two home games left-on Wednesday Oct. 23 at 4 p.m .and on Saturday Oct. 26 at 1 p.m. -so come support your Cyclones!
