Shooting on Seminary leaves three injured

A drive-by shooting occurred on the 3600 block of Seminary Av. at 11:20 p.m. on Sept. 19, according to the Oakland Tribune.

A car carrying five women was shot at by an unknown suspect in another car, injuring two passengers and the driver, according to police.

“They are not Mills students, as far as we know,” said Ben Harmon, a Public Safety officer at Mills.

Police said the victims are expected to survive, but there are no suspects in the case so far.

“No suspects have been detained and the shooting remains under investigation, according to Oakland police, who added that the women were not cooperating with investigators,” KTVU reported.

According to the Tribune, “Police and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering up to $15,000 in reward money for information leading to the arrest of the gunman. Anyone with information may call police at 510-238-3821 or a tip line at 510-773-2805 or Crime Stoppers at 510-777-8572 or 510-777-3211.”
