On Friday, Nov. 18, the Office of Student Life or OSA, had a “Spa Day” for the Mills community.
Approximately 40 students and community members stopped by to learn how to make shampoo, conditioner, facial masks, stress balls and play-dough. Some guests even left with a new hairdo and with manicures and pedicures. The event was free for everybody and some lucky goers even won gift bags from a raffle. According to Rebecca Freeman, one of the student organizers of the event, OSA wanted to provide students with materials and a open space to have fun, relax and treat themsevles to some pampering. As the Fall semester comes to an end, it’s important to take some time for self-care and relaxation, and that’s what many students had a chance to do on Friday.
