The new Dean of Student Life Joanna Iwata was announced May 2.
Iwata, the former director of Student Involvement at East Carolina University, will officially fill the position May 16.
Iwata served as the assistant director of Student Activities at Mills from 1982-1984.
“We’re looking forward to having her back,” President Janet Holmgren said. “She’s exactly what we need at Mills right now, full of energy.”
