Mills College is facing a complaint of wrongful termination from President Janet Holmgren’s former Office Manager and Senior Executive Assistant.
News of the complaint reached the Mills community on September 20, via an email from the Meuser Law Group explaining the allegations and the actions being taken.
Shortly after, Dr. Ramon S. Torrecilha sent a mass email alerting the community about the pending litigation. He advised individuals to not speak to the press or to attorneys and to refer all questions to the College’s vice president and general council, Therese Leone, or its director of media relations, Jeanne Herrera.
Torrecilha gave no further comment on the pending legal complaint or his message to the Mills community.
