Mills College’s Registrar, Kristen Smith, left on Feb 10 to become the Registrar at the New York Institute of Technology.
“We don’t expect any effect on student service with Kristen leaving,” David Gin, Associated Vice President of Student Financial Services, said in a Feb 14 email. “Kristen left because she has a wonderful opportunity back east and closer to her family.”
In the interim, Gin will be taking on the duties of Registrar, which includes administering the registration process and maintaining the academic records for each student, while James Oberhausen will be the new Assistant Registrar effective March 7.
