Brittany Docherty, Volleyball
The first Cyclone of the Week for Fall 2014 is senior Brittany Docherty. Docherty is a strong and versatile player who participated in all four of Mills’ volleyball matches this past weekend. She quickly adjusted to line-up changes, playing both front row and back row in the outside hitter and opposite positions. She led the team’s defense with 25 cumulative digs for the weekend and out-dug opponents in the final match against Whitworth with 8 digs. She was named to the 2014 Whitman Classic All-tournament team and finished the weekend with 9.5 points, 8 kills, 25 digs, and 1 service ace in 12 sets.
