March is Women’s History Month and Mills will be starting it off with a live-audience discussion between National Public Radio (NPR) Senior National Correspondent Linda Wertheimer and author, political activist and attorney Christine Pelosi.

Renowned radio presence Wertheimer will first speak about the current political climate and will be later joined by Pelosi to discuss political campaigns, the expanding role of social media, and the challenges women candidates face.

“Mills has a long history of working to advance women in public service in order to address the need for greater gender balance in American political offices,” Mills President Alecia DeCoudreaux said in a statement. “The combination of Linda Wertheimer’s deep knowledge of the political process and Christine Pelosi’s firm understanding of how leaders are developed will make for a fascinating evening at Mills.”
