A Mills student was hit by a car on Tuesday, around 8 p.m.,
while crossing at the intersection of Post and Kapiolani Rd. on
campus. She suffered minor injuries and was sent home after being
examined by paramedics.
Jazmani Cortez, a public safety officer, said that he came upon
the student, lying in the street, seconds after the collision
occurred and called for medical assistance.
Police and paramedics arrived shortly after, according to
Cortez.
