It’s hard to miss all the recent activity around El Campanil.
Our clock, which has been under repair since last July, is being
reinstalled into the bell tower. Lloyd Larish, who transported the
100-year-old clock to Minnesota and back for the repair, has
restored the Seth Thomas clock. Larish, who is one of only three or
four master watchmakers qualified to work on such a timepiece, says
that reinstallation will take three days.
The college plans a ceremony for Mar. 26, 2004, to celebrate the
restoration of El Campanil.
