Events in the Fall Semester
– Co-sponsored three Femme Dem members to go on the California
Young Democrats Retreat and Workshop in Lake Tahoe.
– Co-sponsored the Free Radicals’ trip whale watching excursion
at Monterey Bay.
Events in Spring Semester
– Co-sponsored Mujeres Unidas event. Local photographer, Karina
Muniz’s display “Borderlines” a photography exhibit of images of
Mexican and U.S. border.
– Co-sponsored the fundraiser headed by the Botanical Garden
club to purchase mugs that will reduce waste on campus.
– Co-sponsored the Mountain Goats concert proposed by student
Lauren White. All proceeds will go to the East Bay Agency for
Children.
– Accepted the Independent Film Club’s constitution and club
funding request.
– We will be co-sponsoring with the Office of Student Life the
movie and concert Reflections in Hip Hop on February 20th.
– Our winter event was a Cabin Weekend: A ski trip in Tahoe for
President’s day weekend.

student news and come and talk to us about all of your ideas,
concerns and what you want from your student representatives. We
all wish you a wonderful and successful new semester and hope that
we can serve all of your student needs in spring 2004.
