Student voted all-conference

Mills College Weekly

Sophomore Amy DeCoux was recently voted an All-Conference Honorable Mention for the California-Pacific Conference. Playing at middle blocker, Amy was the volleyball team’s strongest offensive weapon while also playing steady defense. With a huge vertical lead and a special ability to spike the ball, Amy led the team in kills, blocks, digs, and service aces. She played every minute of every match through the entire season, never once stepping off the court for a substitute. This award is a major achievement for Amy as it solidifies her as one of the top middle blockers in the conference. Amy is a modern language and literatures major from Fair Oaks, Calif.
