Graduating swimmers leave Mills in their wake – Emily Kaufmann

Speaking directly:

“Swimming is my preferred form of exercise.”

On life at Mills:

She missed out on a major in German and a minor in Theater
because of program cuts. She’s graduating with a major in Spanish
and a minor in English instead.

After Mills:

Emily has two possibilities open for teaching in Hong Kong or
Belgium. She, of course, will keep swimming.

What the coach said:

“Emily brought a lot of general pride to Mills Cyclone swimming.
She had an amazing balance of putting in everything she can, but
not wasting energy worrying about things she couldn’t change.”
