I wanted to let the campus know that the food drive we held at the end of the fall semester was a great success. The students, faculty, administration and Bon Appetit contributed $3,000 to Oakland Potluck. Oakland Potluck then distributed the food to different facilities around the city. Pasta, rice, cous cous, cereals and soups were some of the items donate. Some people even brought food from their own kitchen.
The day after the semester ended, the Potluck came with a truck and was able to get the food to the soup kitchens before Christmas. Oakland Potluck sent their thanks and gratitude. Bon Appetit would like to thank the campus for their participation.
