The Mills College swim team was successful despite losing to California State University East Bay (CSUEB) in last Saturday's swim meet.

In addition to breaking school records in both the 400-meter medley relay and 400-meter freestyle relay, freshwoman Shayna Elbling, sophomore Chrissy Fisher, junior Catherine Stitt and senior Sophia Tuttle qualified for Nationals by a whopping eight seconds for their time of 4:36.66 in the 400-meter medley relay.

Head Coach Neil Virtue said that about 80 percent of Mills swimmers earned their best times in their given events.

The Cyclone swimmers hope to improve their already stellar performances at the last swim meet of the season on Saturday, February 11, at 12 p.m. at Mills' Trefethen Aquatic Center.
