Mills College WeeklyJunior Kat Love lit up the Mills pool this weekend with several
outstanding performances at the Bay Area Invitational Swim Meet.
Kat broke two school records at the meet, increasing her total to
three school records! She won the 50 yard backstroke in record
time. Later in the meet, she swam the 200 yard backstroke for the
first time in her career and broke that school record by three
seconds! Kat’s positive attitude throughout the rainy windy weekend
helped keep the Mills swim team focused. Kat is a philosophy major
from Martinez, CA.
