Mills College WeeklySenior cross-country runner and co-captain Claire Abe is the
“Cyclone of the Week” for her fine performance at the Cal Pac
Conference Championships hosted by Mills College on Sunday, Oct.
26. Claire led the Cyclones to a strong third place finish out of
seven teams. She weathered the record breaking heat and completed
the hilly 3.1 mile race in a time of 22:14, besting last year’s
performance by 1:10, and improving nearly 30 seconds from her time
at the Mills Invitational just two weeks prior. Claire has competed
on the cross-country team for three years. She is a psychology
major from Seattle, WA.
