Chelsea Clinton to visit Mills College

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Clinton, will visit Mills College on Saturday, Feb. 2.

According to the Mills College press release on Jan. 31, Clinton will discuss the power and influence of young voters. After that, audience members may ask Clinton questions.

The event begins at 10 a.m., but attendees are asked to arrive by 9:30 a.m. due to the limited number of seats. To help coordinate the event, people wishing to attend the event were asked to RSVP at rsvp@mills.edu.

If the Student Union is full, anyone who could not get in can see the videocast in Lucie Stern Hall Rm. 100.

Clinton is no stranger to California. She gained a history degree from Stanford University in 2001. And her mother, Hillary Clinton, graduated of a women’s college: Wellesley College in Massachusetts.

The College says that this event is not a political endorsement. “Mills College is non-partisan and does not endorse any candidate for office. The College considers part of its educational mission to offer these opportunities for the community,” the press release read.
