Brooks-Moon, who is widely known throughout the Bay Area as the voice of the San Francisco Giants, was honored at the event with the Alumnae Association's Alumnae Achievement Award. In addition to Brooks-Moon, students, coaches and a member of the Oakland community were honored for various awards. Athletes were recognized for academic and athletic excellence, community service and sportsmanship. Cross-country coach Sharon Chiong received two standing ovations when she was recognized for her service and dedication to Mills athletics and the Mills community. The night concluded with a slide show by Megan Miller.
