Saturday night at Haas Pavilion, the Cyclones lost their third game of the season to the William-Jessup Warriors.
The Warriors came from behind in the first match and finished strong in the second and third. The Cyclones gave up points by repeating fouls.
"We're just a young team and not as tough as I would like them to be, and we are working a lot on the psychology of the game," said head coach Marla Mundis.
"The game was a lot of fun despite the losses," Nadia Ghani, a sophomore, said. "I know we played with heart, but we let our mental game get the better of us and as a result we let the other team make some runs throughout the three matches."
"We can beat this team, and we will see them again," said coach Mundis.
The team plays seven other teams twice each during the conference season.
